The Team summits Iztaccíhuatl with a spectacular sunrise!

Friends, family, loved ones, Stuart here. Just got back to the Otis McAllister Hut, having successfully climbed the Ayaloco Glacier on Iztaccíhuatl with the full group, 100% got up there. We’re all safely back down to our High Camp and looking forward to getting down to La Joya trailhead, meeting Arnaldo and he’s going to take us to the hotel in Puebla.

Everybody sends their love… (transmission choppy)… but he’s too busy taking off his long johns. Here’s Alex:

“This is Alex. I love you Vicky. See you shortly, bye.”

Matt’s asleep as usual. He likes to get a little sleep in.

Looking across here at Ken who probably has a “hi” for somebody. That’s alright, he doesn’t have a “hi” for anybody (laughter in background). No offence there. The other chap looks like he’s using the bathroom.

Well I have to say, we had a little wind. Woke up at 2 in the morning, got going at 4, and got up there for the sunrise and had a spectacular day. Thanks for tuning in folks and we’ll get some pictures posted when we have access to a computer. Take care, thank you.
