Hello this is Matthew Nightengale, calling on behalf of Aconcagua Team 5, The Others.
Today we had a rest day at our Camp 1. We had a really good breakfast of french toast and some quesadillas for lunch and some spaghetti for dinner. The team is doing well and everyone is resting in their tents now, getting ready for the move to Camp 2 tomorrow; tomorrow we are going up to Amagino Col (at about 17,200 feet).
Everyone is doing well, the team’s strong and we are looking forward to getting up higher on the mountain. We’ll check back in tomorrow, bye.
