Team Be Like Bamboo feeling a bit tired after moving up to Black Rocks but excited about summit bid in a day

Hello friends, family, and loved ones, this is Brian with Team Be Like Bamboo.

Today we moved up to Black Rocks and we made pretty good time. And people are feeling pretty well, a little anxious and nervous about tomorrow which is hopefully going to be our summit day. And we had nice weather today.

Black Rocks is around 20,400 feet or so. It’s roughly the height of Mount McKinley or Denali, so we’re pretty darn high and people are feeling tired, and slow, and a little lazy. But they worked very, very hard today and were pushed hard, but are doing great.

And we’re looking forward to a good summit day tomorrow. We’re going to wake up early and then, conditions dependent, continue towards the summit and hopefully get there by midday, or around midday.

We’ll give you a new cybercast tomorrow to tell you how things are going. That’s it for now.
