The Orient Express ascended to Amagino Col with a pizza dinner to end the windy day

Friends, family, loved ones, Stuart here on The Orient Express just checking in. Today Agnes, Jangbu, Bob the Dog and myself moved up to Amagino Col (about 5,200 meters).

The weather’s turned south a bit today. It’s a bit colder and as one of my colleagues would say, it is “winnndy”. Listening to the forecast this evening, hopefully some of those wind speeds don’t come to fruition or we’re going to get hammered in the next few days.

But all is well here. Just enjoyed a pizza dinner, washed down with some Coca Cola, courtesy of Jangbu, all that was lacking was some of that orange Tang that we finished off a few days ago.

No great plans for tomorrow. We’re going to wake up and see what happens. Every time I make some plans, it seems The Orient Express becomes derailed for a bit. So we’ll see what the weather brings us tomorrow. Love to have a look at one of those pressure maps; looks like we got a low system inland but hopefully that shifts, that must be what’s causing these winds.

Anyway, all is well here. Thanks for tuning in. Ciao for now.
