Team Fat Chance pushes towards the cold and windy summit before deciding to descend to High Camp

Hello everybody, this is Tom from Team 8.

This morning we attempted the summit. We got to an altitude of 21,250 feet before we had to turn around. It was incredibly windy and brutally cold this morning as you can probably hear right now.

We’re currently at High Camp packing our things. We’ll be down at Plaza Mulas Base Camp this afternoon.

It’s been a fantastic trip with amazing people. And I’d like to end the cybercast with a great phrase: “The summit is for the ego, but the journey is for the soul.”
