The Team took the opportunity to practice some storm techniques on their way up past Windy Corner

Hello, this is Cece phoning in from Alp 1. Our Team had one of – probably our hardest – day yet.

We did the carry from 11,000 feet to the 14,000 foot Advanced Base Camp and it was a great day. We broke camp with gorgeous skies and a gorgeous forecast, and by the time we got to Windy Corner, a northerly storm was upon us. So it was a great opportunity for the Team to try out some of the storm techniques that we’ve been talking about for the last eight days but haven’t had an opportunity to use.

And we put in Camp, got wind walls around our tents, had a fantastic dinner, and everyone’s cozy in their tents with a strong breeze outside.

Hope all is well back home. Ciao ciao!
