Hello, this is Cece phoning in with Alp 1.
Our Team had a very productive day at 14 Camp. The Team of climbers and Nick had a leisurely day here in Camp; some went for a walk out to “The Edge of the World”. Everyone built more snow walls in anticipation of the storm that’s now upon us and all in all had a good rest day.
Meanwhile Pete and I and a Team of Guides and Park Service crew went up to the Fixed Lines, did a bunch of replacing and checking. And after a full day’s work we are now with a complete set of up and down lines, which sets us up well for heading up the mountain when this storm clears.
And another great meal tonight cooked by Chef Nick, pizzas fantastic! And now we’re all tucked into bed and the storm is raging outside. Ciao!
