Back to Basecamp after successful climb of Lobuche East

Hello Everyone,

We are now back to Basecamp after 2 nights at 18,500ft on Lobuche East.  We had a great climb after the first night, and some great practice with fixed lines before we head up on our rotation on Everest to acclimate.  It feels good to be back in Basecamp and we are looking forward to a couple relaxing days before we start looking at our first climbs to Camp 1,2, and 3 on Everest.  I’ll keep you posted as a plan develops but we will be resting a bit and I’ll be looking at weather forecasts and most importantly being patient to have fewer people on the mountain when it’s time for us to head up.

Thanks for following along,

Ben Jones
