Bolivia Team Hikes on the Isla del Sol

We began our day with a short steep hike to a viewpoint over the town of Copacabana and were rewarded with spectacular views of the lake, the town, and the bay filled with boats. After a tour of Copacabana, we traveled by boat to the Sun Island and spent the afternoon making the leisurely hike across the majority of the length of the island. The temperature was perfect, the views expansive, and the fresh lemonade served on arrival at our lodging was blended just right!

We ended the day with a hike to view the sunset over the lake and mountains followed by dinner next to a warm fireplace. And we’re getting far too comfortable…. so tomorrow we are off to the mountains!
