Bolivia Team Hikes the Sun Island

We began our day with a hike up to a viewpoint over Copacabana and the bay filled with boats and then traveled by boat to the Sun Island. Unfortunately, the wind during the last couple of days had churned the lake and gave us a bumpy ride. But we got to spend the afternoon finding our land legs again and hiking six miles across the spine of the island, taking in the views and relaxing. We are staying tonight at a family run lodge in individual bungalows, each with a view across the lake! In a bit, we’ll have a dinner of quinoa soup and trout by the fireplace to finish off the day.

Buenas noches from Bolivia!
