Bolivia Team Travels to Lake Titicaca

Hi family and friends!

Today we enjoyed gorgeous weather as we left the city and traveled to the ruins of Tiwanaku and learned about an ancient culture that provides much insight into current Bolivian high plains culture.

We seem to be a team of adventurous eaters as almost the entire team decided to try llama meat for lunch.

In the afternoon, we traveled along the shores of Lake Titicaca and made a bunch of photo stops to capture Lake Titicaca with the stunning backdrop of the Cordillera Real. Our photos for today include the team on a traditional reed boat, a view from our drive, and a sunset view over the bay from the hotel balcony.

Buenas noches!
