Carstensz Pyramid Expedition Complete!

Faithful readers, the 2017 Alpine Ascents International Carstensz Pyramid Expedition is complete, and all climbers have returned to Bali with the experience of having stood successfully on the highest peak in Oceania.  For some it was four days of waiting and for some 6 just to make it to the Yellow Valley Basecamp.  Some had a 9 hour summit day – and some worked for 13.5 hours to make it to the summit and back.  All returned safely to Bali – and 100% summit success is a nice bonus!

Great work team!
