Fall 2018 EBC Trek – Cheese Balls Roll Downhill!

Namaste friends, family and loved ones!

Having obtained our stated double goal of climbing Kala Pattar (18,000 ft) and visiting Everest Base Camp, we are now in return-to-civilization mode. We dropped three thousand feet today and we can feel the difference.

Views were phenomenal and each step lower was more oxygen for us. More oxygen more fun! Everyone is looking forward to not getting up so many times during the night.

We are happy to be heading down to warmth and did I mention more oxygen.

All our best,Vern Tejas and the Cheese Balls
