Breaking news from the center of the world! The last two days have been full of laughter, conversation, fresh air, good food, and obviously climbing. Two days, two Andean summits!
We started with the Pasochoa at 13.860 feet, a mountain that has a very special ecosystem inside its ancient crater. We passed by haciendas and reached the paramo (highlands) up to its rocky summit and back to our transport after 6hr with nice weather. Afterwards we recovered with a well deserved rest and a good Andean meal.

The second mountain was the Rumiñahui, inside the Cotopaxi National Park. Rumiñahui stands at 15.200 feet and has incredible beauty of unique trails, flowers, birds, and views of the surrounding mountains. Like the previous day it took us 6hrs between going up and coming down. The group is working hard, acclimatizing well, and enjoying Ecuador.
