Team Cupcake Pony made an acclimatization hike to our first upper mountain camp today. We hiked in the sunniest weather we have had since arriving at Plaza de Mulas. The entire team continues to gain strength at elevation.
We will use our rest day tomorrow to make final preparations for our transition to the upper mountain portion of our climb.
