December 8 Update for Team Do Your Vacas Come Con Gas?
Hello Freinds and Family,
Yeaterday the team spent the day getting well deserved rest at Plaza Argentina. There is unbelievable service here for how remote and rugged the location is.
Aconcagua has a rich mountain culture that is something to admire. I have shared a photo below of the staff at P.A. eating their dinner after their days work. It describes the familial nature very well. Always smiling and “other” focused. We are in gratitude for them!
Today, our team carried loads to Campo Uno at 16,300’, making the round trip from base camp in just under eight hours. A busy day and our first taste of the upper mountain. Dinner was traditional asado and was amazing.
Tomorrow we will rest again before committing to the upper mountain.
