Hey everyone this is Steven with Team Dude, Where’s My Sled. We made it to 14 today and we did really well. The weather’s kinda shifted so instead of being hot and sunny, it is now wet snow. So it’s been a little bit cool for move up here. Couldn’t get the sat phone to work last night but we had a good back carry yesterday and celebrated Matt Wieche’s birthday back down at 11. The quote of the trip so far came from Tilman this morning as he was walking around 11 camp, it had gotten quite icy in his booties. He saw that it was getting too dangerous and we need to get out of that camp so we did and now we’re up at 14 about to eat pasta and red sauce for dinner and then tomorrow the plan is to sleep in and back carry. So we’ll walk back down towards Windy Corner, grab the last of our stuff and come back up here so kind of an active rest day. That should take a few hours and then spend the rest just resting and letting people adjust to the altitude. Will touch base tomorrow!
