Denali 2022: Updates from Team 2 at 14 Camp

“Hey hey this is Denali Team Two. We’re just checking in from 14 Camp. Everyone’s doing well. We got up this morning and went down and back carried from our cache at 13,500′,  and then we spent the afternoon improving camp, making a little snow cave behind the tent, making an igloo for the bathroom, and just general tidiness. Getting ready for a little bit of weather tomorrow potentially, and tomorrow we’ll spend some time practicing for the fixed lines and maybe go for a little hike and continue to acclimatize. Everybody says hello and we’ll check in again tomorrow. Talk to you then. Bye.”

Julia was clearly on the same wavelength because just a few weeks before, […]
