Jan 25th. Papallacta lakes hike

Hello everyone!!
Today we explored the amazing Papallacta lake district. Loco Llama group hiked about 4 hours to reach 13000ft and enjoy the breathtaking views of these Andean region. After 3 more hours we reached the comfortable hot springs and we’ll deserved rest. Weather was perfect for the hike: not too sunny and not raining.

Yesterday we climbed Paochoa also with great weather and got to the van right before it started raining. Seems like climate is with us!

Tomorrow we approach Cayambe, our first big goal. Everyone in the team is in good spirits and looking forward to the glacier school.
