Hello everybody,
We are officially team Mas More now. Today we arrived in base camp, also known as Plaza Argentina at 13,500ft. This would be our home for the next 4 days.
Hiking up to base camp today was beautiful. We had a cooler hike and got pretty windy as we got closer to base camp but everybody made it to camp right on time in good style, feeling strong. After having chicken and vegetable for dinner the team is off to bed to stay warm and get some rest.
Tomorrow is our first rest day at base camp but we’re gonna do a nice and easy stroll up the valley to get blood flowing in the system in the morning. In the afternoon, the guide team will work on sorting group food and fuel to be carried up to Camp 1 for our first carry day.
