Hello friends, family, and loved ones, this is Mitosis are Cold reporting in from the West Fork of the Kahiltna Glacier. It was a beautiful day for moving today so that’s exactly what we did. Lots of sunshine and good weather always of to the West Fork, it was a short day. We don’t wanna strain yourself too much. We have very heavy loads, we’re doing single carries, but everybody’s in good spirits and we had an excellent dinner tonight. Courtesy of Cameron, he did a real good job on that like I said everyone is in pretty good spirits we’re starting to move now and course everybody was a little antsy to get out of base camp. Big plan for tomorrow looks like weather’s coming in for this weekend but we’re gonna move up to camp one which is at 7,800 ft we’re at the West Fork right now we’re gonna move up to the North East Fork of the Kahiltna and camp at the bottom of Ski Hill. Shouldn’t be a very difficult carry, we’ve got little more elevation gain than we had today but like I said everyone is going strong and we will be there so stay tunes for the further adventures of Mitosis are Cold!
