Mongolia 2018 Team Explores Ulaanbataar

Hi all,

The rest of the team arrived last night and got a few hours of sleep before our city tour today.

We spent the day exploring the National Museum of Mongolia, Gandan Tegchenling Monastery, and the Winter Palace of the Bogod Khan. After a short afternoon nap we attended a performance by the Mongolian National Song and Dance Ensemble. Finally we had a great meal at the Silk Road restaurant. Everyone is in good spirits and looking forward to a good nights sleep. Tomorrow we head to Bayan – Olgii to start our journey to Potanin Basecamp.
