The Mulas pushed though strong winds but hoods coats and gloves were worn tighter more proficiently, they looked ready. The team put on their crampons for the first time and marched on hard snow to Camp 3 Colera. They secured their cache bags and headed back into stronger winds down at C2 Guanacos. They had mess in small circles squatting on rocks. In the last light a few Mulas Locas stood in huge parkas shoulder to shoulder silently watching last light on the endless white and red Andean peaks.
