Hey everyone,
Connor here checking in with the Ochos Locos. Today the team woke up to a small amount of new snow coating the ground. We had a well deserved rest day after our heavy carry day yesterday. The team enjoyed the last day of luxuries at base camp. We started with a breakfast of bacon, eggs, and french toast. Then some of us enjoyed hot showers. We listened to Christmas music and played uno. We finished our evening with a treat from the base camp staff, a fire grilled asada. Everyone is now making their final gear preparations for our move to camp one tomorrow. Spirits are high and we are ready to move on from basecamp! Happy Holidays everyone sends their love back home.
