Puja day and skills review
Hello Everyone,
Yesterday, here at Basecamp, we had our Puja ceremony asking for a safe expedition from the Goddess of Everest. It was perfect weather, and after the ceremony we tried to pick up the steps of some Sherpa dances, played many games of cornhole and even some scrabble.
Today we went into the lower Khumbu icefall and did a little review of skills that will benefit the team when we climb Lobuche East and also to Camp 1 in the future.
We are all healthy and feeling great here, and looking forward to some climbing very soon. In a few days we will head down valley to climb Lobuche East for some more acclimatization.
