Ecuador Volcanoes Team 5 Completes Second Acclimatization Hike

Hello family and friends!
Today, the team hiked up to the Parcacocha lake located at an altitude of 13,350 feet enjoying fantastic views of Antisana (the fourth highest mountain in Ecuador). Everybody performed great. They are all adjusting well to the altitude. Two team members decided to soak in the waters of the lake (they had forgotten to bring their bathing suits though) but the rest of us preferred to wait till we get back to the hot springs resort to jump into the thermal pools.
Tomorrow we are moving to our base camp on Cayambe. We are looking forward to climbing the third highest mountain in Ecuador and we are keeping our fingers crossed for the weather to stay good.
Our best to you all!
