TAPS 2018 Trek At Machu Picchu!

Amigos, Family & Loved Ones,

It was a glorious day to explore Machu Picchu. Up early, we were able to catch the sunrise from the terrace overlooking this incredible, ancient city. We spent some time touring the highlights of the site. The architectural ingenuity of the Incas is impressive.

Everywhere we turned was an incredible view. Some of us climbed Wayna Picchu, a neighboring peak about 1,000 feet higher than Machu Picchu itself. It was steep!

We’re now on the train returning to Cusco. Satisfied, savoring our accomplishment and just a little bit tired! Early tomorrow morning the team will start to make their way home and back to you. Thank you so much for following our adventure. We, Vern and Carole, are grateful for the opportunity to support TAPS Expeditions.

All our best,

Carole & Vern Tejas
