Hi everyone,
Today was an excellent recovery day from climbing as we explored the cathedrals, pyramids, and cultural sites of Puebla and the neighboring city of Cholula. Folks learned a lot about the history of Mexico and we enjoyed a couple delicious meals, including one of the best restaurants in Puebla, El Mural de los Poblanos. With Izta behind us and the rest day complete, we are now looking forward to our next summit attempt. Tomorrow begins the journey out of Puebla and towards base camp of the flanks of Orizaba. Thanks for following along!
