The Team Attempts Chimborazo

Hello family and friends. The team moved to the foot of the highest mountain in Ecuador where they prepared for their summit bid. They left camp at about midnight and after one and a half hours of steady climbing reached the foot of the Stubel Glacier. Unfortunately, they found very hard ice all the way up on this glacier and decided to be conservative and turned around. They traveled back to Quito (the Ecuadorian Capital City) where they had a farewell dinner and took their fligths back home.
It was very nice to have enjoyed the company of Tim and Peter along this trip in the Andes of Ecuador and we hope to see them again in the near future. Thanks guys!
Keep climbing!
