Hello everyone,
Today was day one of our trip, full of all the pre-trip preparations. We started the day getting to know each other over coffee and then running through all our gear for the weeks ahead. Some lunch and refreshing on skills followed and at 4pm we had our Denali Briefing with the National Park Service. With all of our to do list checked off, we enjoyed some pizza and music out in the bustling town of Talkeetna. We decided on the team name of The Buttress Busters, though a close second was Midlife Crevasses. More to come tomorrow!
