The final Alpine Ascents Denali team of the 2021 season – Team “Clean Sweep” – arrived in Talkeetna and completed their gear check successfully. Here’s a photo of the team at the Talkeetna Overlook on the drive into town for pizza before our flight.
As you can see in the photo we’ve had a crystal clear AM (hopefully some Alpine Ascents teams are summiting today). There is a weather system clearly moving in (a small one) so remains to be seen if we fly today. If we do, we’ll give you an update from the glacier.
