Aconcagua Team Ice Scream Gets High

Hola Friends, Family & Loved Ones,

The team had a great, confidence-building day today, with an acclimatization hike to close to 17,000 feet. The team did well— great pacing, great technique and all with great humor. We were stoked to arrived at our high point. We’re developing some great friendships among our team. We made quick work of the down climb to basecamp, where we are now enjoying snacks and hot drinks. The weather all day has been fantastic— perfect for photos of the mountain.

Tomorrow we plan to carry our high altitude equipment up to camp 1 Aka Canada camp.

All our best,
Carole and Vern Tejas
