Hola friends family and loved ones,
On our seventh day we rested. It was delightful just to spend our day eating sleeping and showering All team members are adapting well according to the resident Doctor.
In the afternoon we were entertained with music by Viktor and Tony. Viktor Babok is a famous Russian mountaineer and Tony is on the the Argentine mountain rescue team. Both are world class folk musicians so it was a pleasure to blow harmonica with them.
It’s still blowing over 115 KPH on the summit so base camp has been a safe haven for us However tomorrow we are planning to move up to camp 1, known as Canada because it’s so cold. Follow along on our audio cybercast at alpineascents.com!
