Hi everyone! The weather cooperated and the entire Alpine Ascents team reached the summit of Cotopaxi (19,347 feet) this morning. Big congrats to David, Dave and Rob! They are all very happy by their achievement. It was a well deserved reward after having endured stormy weather on Cayambe. It took them 7 hours to get to the summit and 3 hours to come back down. A great performance at that altitude. Cotopaxi is the second highest mountain in Ecuador. Dave departed for the States after the climb as he was on the 12 Day Trip. Safe travels! You will be missed!
