Team Not MESSI-ing Around Rest Day Highlights

The crew enjoyed one last rest day at basecamp with warm weather and sunny skies. The team headed to the doctor to get one last check before advancing and everyone is clear to climb. After the check a few headed to the cafe for a cappuccino and some wifi. Other played cards, and a couple fell asleep in a bean bag chair in the sun.

A major highlight for many was Mitten Training! Some were skeptical of the value of this training but by the end we had a few that had figured it out. Take a look at the photos to see how well the team did with this training!

This luxurious rest day allowed for everyone to refuel for a big few days ahead. Tomorrow will bring a start to us moving to our higher camps. The team is looking healthy, strong, and ready to start climbing higher. The extended forecast looks favorable, but we are still taking it one day at a time!
