Today we hiked up to Canada Camp, our first upper mountain camp, and then descended back to Plaza de Mulas. This hike up to 16,600 ft gave us the opportunity to both continue to acclimate and to porter part of our personal gear that we will use on the upper mountain.
We will take a rest day in Plaza de Mulas tomorrow and make final preparations for beginning the upper mountain portion of our trip.
