Team Trail Mixers summits Pasochoa

Hello family and friends!!

This is the first post of the TRAIL MIXERS TEAM in Ecuador.
Yesterday we met for the first time in Quito, Ecuador. After gear check we left the hotel for a day walking around the narrow and steep streets of the historic centre in Quito. We climbed some church towers and ate amazing local food. Don’t forget chocolate. Then, back to the hotel to rest and prepare for the first summit.

So today we drove to Pasochoa and hiked for 2 and a half hours for the summit. Great pace!! Weather was great: not too sunny but no rain. After this hike with amazing views of the inter Andean Valley, we drove for a couple of hours to the Papallacta area where hotsprings made our day perfect. We just ate dinner and are ready for a new adventure tomorrow. We will hike in the Cayambe Coca national Park, specifically in the Papallacta lake district. So tomorrow we will have some more news and photos.
