The Blockade Runners Move to Huayna Potosi Base Camp

Due to the amount of snow that has fallen over the last few days, we switched to 4×4 transport today and reopened the pass to Huayna Potosi. Over the last few days, we’ve had snowier conditions than normal for this time of year. In fact, it’s been a great number of years since we’ve seen similar conditions for late May! It was a beautiful drive and we are now at the Huayna Potosi base camp at 15,700 ft.
