Hi everybody, I am happy to report that we have summited Mount Everest and are safely back down at the South Col at 26,000 ft! We had a beautiful summit day today, perfect weather, not crowded and not too cold either. 12 hour round trip push, we stood on the summit for a while taking photos and enjoying the views, afterwards we geared up for a long climb back down. Anyway, we are setting in for the night, going to have dinner and go to bed here soon then start our descent back to Camp 2. After that we’ll head back down to basecamp, and back to Kathmandu!
