Hello Everyone,
It was a great first full day here in the Kingdom of Bhutan. After breakfast we took off towards the Tiger’s Nest Monastery, just a short drive away. We hiked up to the Monastery, which is quite literally built on the edge of a cliff. We climbed close to 3,000 ft to get to this beautiful Monastery, where we toured a few of the many temples and then descended back down and headed into Paro town for lunch. After some shopping and walking around the town, we came back home to our hotel for the night. We just finished up dinner and have headed off to bed after a tiring and fun day. Tomorrow morning we begin our 12 day trek in the Himalaya of Bhutan. Our team is doing great and excited to start the trek! Thanks for following along!
