Hello everybody!
Today, we reviewed glacier climbing skills at 16,100 feet on Cayambe. The weather allowed us to spend several hours at that altitude practicing self arrest, flat footing techniques, front pointing, glacier travel, etc.
We are back at the Yanacocha hut enjoying a great dinner prepared by our cook Juan. Tomorrow, we will move to the Cayambe hut and prepare the climb of the third highest mountain in Ecuador. Wish us luck with the weather!
