Hi everyone,
Yesterday we all returned to Arusha for showers, and celebrating post-mountain.
We were all very happy to reach the summit of Africa’s highest peak on December 9th- which happens to be Independence Day in Tanzania! The Tanzanian army had a party carrying the flag to the summit. The summit is known as “Uhuru” which means freedom in Swahili.
Today Brandon, Steve and Nanette headed out on Safari in the Northern circuit- Tarangire, Ngoro Ngoro and Serengeti parks!
My thanks to a great team and our awesome Tanzanian crew for another successful journey to the roof of Africa. We have a week break here and then team 2 will be arriving!
My Best
Eric Murphy
Thanks
Eric Murphy
