After a very rainy start to the course, the sun is shining on Mount Rainier! The rain that fell yesterday froze overnight making conditions perfect for crampon practice today. Every cloud has a silver lining right? All the students on the course are in high spirits, especially with the change in the weather. With freezing levels dropping over the next day, the team can expect to stay dry for the reminder of the course. In addition to crampon practice, the team is covering knots and glacier travel today.
