Aconcagua Final Team Arrives and Gets Organized

Hola Friends, Family & Loved Ones,

All team members arrived safely in Mendoza today.

We settled down to business right away with an orientation meeting, where we got to know one another a bit and reviewed some important points about the climb to come. We then checked everyone’s gear to make sure we had what we needed for the climb. People came well prepared and so we were able to fly through the gear list.

We ended the day with an al fresco dinner at a classic Mendoza restaurant. Even better than dinner was … dessert! A daily ice cream fix is a Mendoza MUST-DO. Our favorite flavors: Almond and Dulce de Leche.

Tomorrow, we hit the road bright and early for Penitentes, near the entrance to Aconcagua National Park. We will report back tomorrow with our further adventures. Thanks for following us!
