We had a really successful day today on our 2nd day of our acclimatization and training program. We were able to climb the Petite Fourche (the little fork) and descend into Switerland despite warm conditions and deep mushy snowpack from a snowy May and June in the Alps. Tomorrow we will start with a climb of the Aiguille du Tour and descend back to the Chamonix valley for a night of rest before we head to the Mont Blanc.
