4 Gorkhas stop in Lobuche for a night then in Gorak Shep, the end of the trail before Base Camp

Hello Everyone,

We have just arrived in Gorak Shep (16,800 feet) and are getting ready to have tea and lunch before heading up Kala Pattar (18,200 feet). Everyone is doing well, feeling good and acclimatizing well.

Last night we spent a night in Lobuche (16,200 feet) where there is starting to be quite a bit of snow around. Luckily, the trail for the most part is clear and we are having awesome views of the mountains with the fresh snow!

It’s a beautiful day here so we are going to head up Kala Pattar today and head to Everest Base Camp tomorrow. I’ll send some more pictures from Kala Pattar in a couple hours.

Talk to you soon,
Ben
