Acclimatizing in Samagaun

Hello Everyone,

Today we have had good weather and a fun day. After breakfast we went on an acclimation hike gaining about 1,700ft to a new high point of 13,300ft. After lunch we went on a short hike to a lake at the base of Manaslu in the valley here and then we played a few games of Snooker.

Tomorrow we will be off to Samdo further up the valley for one night and a couple hikes to further acclimatize. In just a few days we will head to Basecamp and get ready to start our climb! The team is all doing very well!
