Team 13 Crying Clowns laughing together as they watch the sun fade from the Andes Mountains at Pampa de Leñas

Hey there, friends, family, and loved ones. This is Team 13 Crying Clowns calling in from Pampa de Leñas (at 2900 meters above sea level).

We’ve just had a great dinner. Everyone’s drinking dishwater soup and laughing, I think I almost saw a spurt right there. And we’re watching the sun as it fades from the top of the Andes Mountains.

And the team’s spreading out around, we’re really very comfortable here. We’re able to get some nice tent sites and the tents have gone up, they look beautiful. After tent school, these guys were quick learners, and we’re hoping that they stay with us all the way up the mountain. Putting up good solid tents with anchors (over 80 pounds of anchors) all the way.

So what do you have to say for yourselves Clowns? (question posed to team, cheers and laughter in background)
Ciao for now! Stay tuned for the further adventures of the 13 Climbing Clowns.
