Brown & Hedges Team spends the day trekking up to Chukhung with time to practice skills before a wonderful dinner

Hi, this is Garrett Madison calling in for the Hedges & Brown Base Camp Trek and Island Peak Climb.
Today we trekked from Dingboche up to Chukhung and we’re looking forward tomorrow to climbing up to Island Peak Base Camp. We had a beautiful day today, great views and got up to Chukhung and reviewed our climb travel technique with the ascender carabiner and we fixed our crampons to our boots and practiced rappelling as well.
So we’re slotted for more good weather and moving up to Base Camp and going for the summit the next day. Everyone’s doing great. We had a wonderful dinner and we’ll check in soon.
