Cayambe Summit! Team heads to Antisana

Taking advantage of perfect weather and very good snow conditions, Tim climbed all the way to the summit of Cayambe (18,993 ft). This is also a new altitude record for him. Big congrats! Peter also enjoyed the climb and reached an altitude of 18,100 ft. After descending safely, the team drove to the beautiful Hacienda Pinsaquí to rest and recover before heading to Antisana and finally Chimborazo. Yesterday, the team visited the Cuicocha crater lake and the indigenous handicraft market of Otavalo, where Peter and Tim could give proof of their bargaining skills and purchase some nice souvenirs.
Today they are moving to high camp on Antisana for the summit bid tonight.
Peter and Tim say hello to family and friends.
